The ones who wore the specific clothes of romans and dacians were none other than the members of the association “Terra Dacica Aeterna” the ones who organized the event. They have prepared numerous surprizes for the public. Besides the fighting, people could watch duels between gladiators, dances, old rituals and many more.
Everyone who joined the event was invited to find out about how our ancestors used to live.
The forge was the principal attraction of the photographers, while the workshops which make handmade objects was full of kids.
The location wasn’t chosen randomly, as it holds a lot of history behind it.
There was also an antic ritual of marriage, followed by lighting the “sacred fire” and a concert hold by the bands named “Praf”, “Quas”, “Aspru” and “Focul Viu”.
The contest “Sica de aur” took place in the first part of Saturday, being followed gladiator duels.
After these, the final battle between the romans and the dacians was re-enacted.
