Băile Daco - Romane Tourist Complex is located in the balneo-climatic resort Geoagiu-Băi, in a hilly area, at an altitude of 350 meters, in the homonymous depression at the foot of the Metaliferi Mountains. The complex has dining areas which serve delicious foods, changing cabins, sun loungers and a playground. Hygiene is strict, and the pool management is preparing countless surprises for the end of each week this summer season.

Generous spaces for recreation

Reopened at the end of May, the complex has a total area of ​​21,000 square meters, of which about 3,000 square meters is just water, ie the three pools. There is a pool that starts from a depth of 1.7 meters and reaches up to 3.5 meters, which also has a trampoline for jumping, the second pool with a depth between 70 centimeters and 1.8 meters and a pool for children, which is 40 centimeters deep. From this year, in the children's pool and the middle one, the water temperature measures about 34 degrees Celsius, after the management of the spa complex installed a thermal power plant that heats the water coming from the thermal spring to a temperature of 29 degrees Celsius.

Inside the complex there is also an Olympic sized pool, which is 50 meters long, 25 meters wide and 1.9 meters deep. It can be used from July. Tourists who choose this destination for leisure also have at their disposal 120 cabins in which to change their clothes and 2,500 sun beds. The complex also has a playground, where the little ones can play freely.

Water with miraculous properties

Băile Daco - Romane complex is among the places in Hunedoara County preferred by tourists from all parts of the country. The spa resort itself is extremely sought after by people suffering from various ailments, especially rheumatic. During the summer, hundreds of thousands of tourists stop at Geoagiu-Băi to take advantage of the sun, the fresh air, but especially the exceptional quality and properties of the thermal water in the pools of the leisure complex.

Healing springs and impressive sights

In the resort there are also several "healing" springs, whose sulfurous waters are used for various ailments, rheumatism, gostro-duodenal or renal.

Tourists who arrive choose to spend their free time in the resort Geoagiu - Baths, after a treatment and relaxation in the spa, can visit a number of tourist attractions and historical relics, some unique in the world such as the Roman Baths.

The price of a ticket for adults is 30 lei, and for children up to 14 years old, 25 lei.

Băile Daco - Romane, located 46 kilometers from Deva and 19 from Orăştie, can be reached either by car, on the A1 or the National Road (DN) 7, from Sibiu or Timişoara, or on DN 1 and DN 7 , from Cluj Napoca, either by train to Orăştie and then by bus to the resort.
